Dominic works as a director, performer, puppeteer and mask maker. This multidisciplinary approach is vital to him: Each practice feeding and furthering the other.
Dominic is currently working as a Creative Associate of Theatre Company 1927.
As a director, Dominic has helped bring two new musicals to the West End. In 2016 he was associate and then resident director on The Go Between (Apollo Shaftesbury Avenue). In 2015 he was assistant and then resident director on The Girls (Leeds Grand, Lowry Salford), before its London run at the Phoenix.
Since 2013 Dominic has been a visiting and resident director of musical theatre and puppetry at the University of Central Lancashire. During this time he has also worked extensively in the UK prison system, making victim awareness based theatre and Bunraku inspired puppetry with young men and adults, winning the ‘Spirit of Manchester Award’ with Odd Arts in 2014. With this company he performed and facilitated Forum Theatre pieces in educational settings throughout the north of England. Through his puppetry, puppeteering and mask-making, Dominic encourages instinctive cognitive glitches, on stages and in spaces.
Since 2016 Dominic has been based between Norfolk and London, developing theatre with East Anglian regional theatres and companies such as Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds and Moon On A Stick. He has now completed two UK wide tours with Moon On A Stick.
